Announcing Our $2m Seed Round

Even before the pandemic it was challenging to plan engaging gatherings if your team had remote members or individuals. We have all attended our fair share of awkward virtual happy hours where the only activity is a conversation via Zoom. Planning  in-person events was also difficult. It is typical to have an unconfirmed number of people, excited to do something, without a lot of good options.

In my personal experience we almost always ended up at a bar. What else was I going to do with a 30 person group? Lots of time spent googling, countless back and forth emails for event inquiries as well as planning was my waking nightmare. I believed there had to be a better way and I knew I wasn’t alone in my suffering.

The pandemic opened our eyes to what could be accomplished virtually. We set out on a mission to make finding and booking amazing events easy. You should be able to see all the information you need to make a decision about an event and book with a few clicks. We’re living in a new world of remote employment and digital connection. We can deliver a better experience when booking and managing events whether those events are virtual, in-person, or a hybrid of both formats. 

Since our founding in September of 2020, we have planned thousands of events and have delighted hundreds of customers. I am excited to announce that we have raised our $2m seed round to continue to accelerate our growth and be able to further our mission with the backing of Lightbank, Verissimo Ventures, Service Provider Capital, K50 Ventures, Purple Arch Ventures and others.

This is a big milestone to achieve but it’s only our opening act. Our goal is to put a smile on thousands of faces attending events as well as helping hundreds of hosts grow their businesses. We’re in the business of having fun and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more to come!
